    Fedivision 2024

Greetings, musicians! The Fedivision song contest is back in 2024, with the event planned to culminate in May 2024.

This year, we have a dedicated Fediverse presence at fedi.vision; please follow the account to be kept up to date with events. The songs will still be hosted here on fedivision.party.

A quick recap of the rules:

    • Entries are open to members of the Fediverse. Collaborations are fine.
    • Entries must be original music. No covers, no filk.
    • Entries must be previously unreleased.
    • Entries must be less than four minutes long.

    Time to start composing!

  • Fedivison will return in 2024

    Fedivison will return in 2024

Our biggest ever Fedivision song contest has just finished, but we’re already thinking about next year’s event.

Block out your calendars for the first half of June 2024, and prepare your songs!

    See you in 2024!

  • Update in progress!

    Update in progress!

Hey, we’re back! And we’re working hard to update the website. We also are a team of three now: @TQ, @zatnosk and @futzle!

The schedule should be up to date, and submissions will open very soon. So, dear fellow musicians of the Fediverse: Tune your instruments, grab your mics and get ready!

    It’ll be a party!

  • We’re back

    We’re back

Everything seemed to work just fine. We had some hours of Fedivision fun, listened to the awesome music the artists created for the contest – and then: nothing? Shortly after midnight CEST (my local time) the songs became unavailable, because the service I used blocked further requests.

Thankfully, Alderwick came to the rescue and offered to host the songs. So all is fine now, everything is back to working conditions, and voting can begin today at 3 PM CEST!

  • Submissions: One day to go!

    Submissions: One day to go!

The Eurovision Song Contest is over! It was glorious, it was sparkly and queer and fun, and many of us celebrated with the artists.

Now the final days of the Fedivision Song Contest have begun, and this year’s Fedivision Song Contest promises to outshine last year’s. We’re already at 19 submissions, and there is almost one day left to submit your work! The contestants chose to represent alluring factions such as “Catistan and Doggerland”, “The Planet Qaarg”, “The Hobbits of the Shire”, “Your mom’s house” and Andoria.

We’re looking forward to listening to the amazing music – and casting our votes for our favs!
